All has been quiet from me recently as I take the steps to have my midwifery education and experience recognized in Canada so that I can write the national exam this year. I have spoken to many midwives recently about the challenges they face in their provinces. Midwives are in such high demand and yet funded jobs in many provinces remain very limited. Here's hoping the provincial governments recognize the need and demand of the Canadian women and we can work together to resolve this shortage. #weneedmidwifery
